About Me
Typing my first line of code in Visual Basic sparked a passion for programming. Being an avid gamer for many years and interests in technology have pushed me towards using programming to create fun and exciting projects.
A creative mind, with creative ideas. I attended the University of Portsmouth from 2017 - 2020 and undertook the Computer Games Technology course and graduated with a First Class Honours.
After graduating university, I landed my first games industry job at Cloud Imperium Games working on Star Citizen as a QA Tester. Since joining Cloud Imperium, I have had the experience on working in general QA testing main mechanics of the game. I moved onto QA Tech testing the sandbox editor and tools within to ensure developers are able to use the tools without any bugs. Becoming a Senior on the Resource Team, I helped keeping documentation up-to-date as well as training new testers and bring them up to par with our working practises. After several months on the Resource Team, I then moved onto the Network Team as an Embedded Network QA Tester testing new and exciting tech such as Server Meshing and Persistent Entity Streaming.
I relish the constant challenges that accompany programming, as it allows me to expand my knowledge and better my problem solving skills. One of my favourite parts of programming is the satisfaction that comes with creating a working code, and fixing any issues along the way. Planning, problem solving, and determination are my strong points in any project.
In my spare time, I am often found socialising, gaming, keeping active, and learning new skills.
My main ambition for the future is expanding my knowledge and practical skills, as well as making a name for myself within the industry.
